What the committee does
In the barangay's own words, the committee is there to:
- Monitor and coordinate the implementation of peace and order programs through the Barangay Tanods and Bantay Bayan personnel.
- Monitor and check for nefarious activities by criminal elements.
- Maintain continuing dialogue and close coordination with higher levels of peace and order councils and law enforcement units.
- Assist law enforcement authorities in the service and execution of judicial processes.
