Drill Advisory
Simulated earthquake drill scheduled for July 30, 2024, 9:00 AM
We will be conducting a simulated earthquake drill on July 30, 2024 as part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of our community. Your cooperation and participation are essential to the success of this drill and the safety of our community.
During the drill, everyone is expected to:
1. Drop, Cover, and Hold On
* Drop to your hands and knees.
* Cover your head and neck (or your entire body if possible) under a sturdy piece of furniture or against an interior wall.
* Hold on until the shaking stops.
2. Evacuate
* Use designated evacuation routes and exits.
* Assemble at the evacuation area for a head count of your members.
3. Assist Others
* Help individuals who may need assistance, including those with disabilities and the elderly.
4. Follow Instructions
* Listen for announcements and follow the instructions given by emergency personnel and drill coordinators.
5. Stay Calm
* Do not panic and be aware of your surroundings.
* Avoid using elevators.
